TARLAND - TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
“The Aberdeenshire Council (Tarland – 07.08.26) (Temporary Traffic Management) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate on 07.08.26 for 2 days and will introduce the following temporary restrictions in Tarland:
PROHIBITION OF WAITING – FROM MIDNIGHT ON 07.08.26 TO midnight on 08.08.26
B9119 Aberdeen Road from the junction with Morven View, northeast for approximately 650 metres on both sides.
U241 Douneside from B9119 Aberdeen Road, west for approximately 50 metres on both sides.
ROAD CLOSURE – 09.08.26 from 00:45 to 01:45
B9119, Aberdeen Road, from Morven View, northeast for approximately 650 metres. An alternative route is available via the B9119 (Tarland), C33m (Tarland), B9094 (Tarland), B9119 (Tarland) and vice versa.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared to allow safe passage through the event.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety owing to the annual Tarland Show.
