The City of Edinburgh Council proposes to make an Order under the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997, to stop up the lengths of road described in the Schedule hereto, in order to enable development to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted under said Act. A copy of the Order, public notice, accompanying plans, showing the roads to be stopped up, together with a statement of reasons and our privacy notice can be viewed free of charge, between
09:30 to 15:30, Mon-Fri, from 31/07/26 to 28/08/26 at the City of Edinburgh Council, Calton Hub, Waverley Court or online at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/trafficorders or www. tellmescotland.gov.uk. Any person may, within 28 days from 31/07/26 make representations or object to the making of the Order by notice, in writing, or e-mail to TRO.Consultations@ edinburgh.gov.uk quoting reference Po/25/58 to Traffic Orders, Waverley Court, 4 East Market Street, Edinburgh EH8 8BG. Representations and objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. After the 28 day period the Order will be confirmed as an unopposed Order by the Council or submitted to the Scottish Ministers for consideration as an opposed Order.
SCHEDULE LENGTHS OF ROAD TO BE STOPPED UP Pennywell rd All that part of the footway on the west side of Pennywell Rd, from 6.6m north of the intersection of the extended west and north building lines of No. 37 Pennywell Rd, northwards for 75m and which has a width that varies from 3.1m to
12.7m. Muirhouse Ave nth (nth to Sth Section) and Pennywell rd All that part of the footway on the east side of Muirhouse Ave Nth (Nth to Sth Section) and the west side of Pennywell Rd, from 22.1m south and 8.9m east of the intersection of the extended north kerbline of Muirhouse Ave Nth (East to West Section) and the extended east kerbline of Muirhouse Ave Nth (Nth to Sth Section), eastwards for 46m and which has a width throughout of 1.7m. Muirhouse Ave nth (east to West Section) and (nth to Sth Section) All that part of both the footway and carriageway on the north side of Muirhouse Ave Nth (East to West Section) and the east side of Muirhouse Ave Nth (Nth to Sth Section), from 20.4m south of the intersection of the extended north kerbline of Muirhouse Ave Nth (East to West Section) and the extended east kerbline of Muirhouse Ave Nth (Nth to Sth Section), northwards for 27m and then westwards to 36.5m west of the said intersection and which has a width that varies from 10.9m to 0m.
