NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 121 IN THE COMMUNITY OF MOLD RURAL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2025

The above Order came into force from the 14th February 2025 for a period of 6 months, until and including 13th August 2025, the order has since been extended with the approval of the Welsh Government until and including 12th August 2026.

Notice is now hereby given that the said Order made by Flintshire County Council on the 5th February 2025 is extended with the approval of the Welsh Government and will continue in force until and including 13th February 2027, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.

The effect of the Order is that no person shall proceed in using Public Footpath No. 121 in the Community of Mold Rural from a point at the junction with Argoed View at NGR 325070 365554 for an approximate distance of 105 metres in a northerly direction to the junction with New Brighton Road at NGR 325095 365650.

The reason for the continued closure is to facilitate the construction of a housing development and associated works by Lovell Partnerships.

There is an alternative route available onsite.

Daeth y Gorchymyn uchod i rym ar 14 Chwefror 2025 am gyfnod o 6 mis, hyd at 13 Awst 2025, gan gynnywys y dyddiad hwnnw, ac mae’r Gorchymyn wedi’i ymestyn gyda chymeradwyaeth Llywodraeth Cymru hyd 12 Awst 2026, gan gynnwys y dyddiad hwnnw.

Rhoddir rhybudd drwy hyn bod y Gorchymyn uchod a wnaed gan Gyngor Sir y Fflint ar 5 Chwefror 2025 wedi’i ymestyn gyda chymeradwyaeth Llywodraeth Cymru a bydd yn dal mewn grym tan 13 Chwefror 2027, gan gynnwys y dyddiad hwnnw, neu nes y cwblheir y gwaith, pa bynnag un sydd gyntaf.

Bydd y Gorchymyn yn gwahardd cerddwyr rhag defnyddio Llwybr Troed Cyhoeddus Rhif 121 yng Nghymuned yr Wyddgrug Wledig o bwynt ar y gyffordd gydag Argoed View ar NGR 325070 365554 am bellter o tua 105 metr i gyfeiriad y gogledd at y gyffordd â New Brighton Road at NGR 325095 365650.
