FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER ANS SUSPENSION OF A ONE-WAY RESTRICTION

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

BUCKLEY

Flintshire County Council has made an Order which will:

1. Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding on Knowle Lane, between its junctions with Church Road and The Mews.

2. Suspend during the period of the closure the One-Way restriction currently in force along Knowle Lane to allow vehicles to travel in either direction along the highway between its junctions with Park Walk and The Mews.

The reason for the order is to allow for remedial works in the carriageway with associated works by Ash Civils.

Alternative routes will be signed accordingly with the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The Order comes into force on the 2 August 2026. It is anticipated that the road will be closed and the one-way restriction suspended for approximately one day, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months.
