Mae Cyngor Sir Powys, fcyn pen saith niwrnod, yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn i gau dros dro llwybr troed 1134/1190 Penybont o ffordd sirol yr A44 yn SO116640 i’r Cae Ras yn SO115639 am 100 metr. Bydd y cau yn dod i rym o 3 Awst 2026 i 2 Chwefror 2026 neu tan y bydd y gwaith wedi’i wneud i osod dec newydd ar bompren Severn Arms, p’un bynnag sydd gyntaf.

Mae angen cau’r llwybr er mwyn gwneud gwaith i osod dec newydd ar bompren Severn Arms.

County of Powys (Footpath 134/1190 Penybont) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Temporary Prohibition of all traffic

Powys County Council intends to make an Order in no less than seven days to temporarily close footpath 1134/1190 Penybont from county road A44 at SO116640 to the Race Course at SO115639 for 100 metres. The closure will come into effect from 3rd August 2026 to 2nd February 2027 or until works have taken place to redeck the Severn Arms footbridge whichever is sooner.

The closure is required for works to redeck the Severn Arms footbridge.
