Cyngor Sir Powys wedi gwneud Gorchymyn Arbrofol ar 23 Gorffennaf 2026 yn unol â’i bwerau o dan Adrannau 9 a 10 Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig y Ffyrdd 1984. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 7 Awst 2026 a bydd mewn grym am gyfnod heb fod yn fwy na 18 mis ond gellir ei wneud yn barhaol drwy ddibynnu ar ystyriaeth gan y Cyngor o unrhyw wrthwynebiadau.

Bydd y Gorchymyn hwn yn gwneud yn anghyfreithlon i achosi i unrhyw gerbyd sydd â’r lled mwyaf yn fwy na 2.6 metr i fynd ar hyd y rhan hon o’r Ffordd Ddosbarthedig Sir Rhif C2202 yn Nghymuned Llansilin sy’n croesi Pont y Glascoed dros cyrs dwr Cynllaith (Cyfeirnod Grid Arolwg Ordnans SJ 21390 27584).

The County of Powys

(C2202 Glascoed Bridge, Llansilin) (2.6 Metre Maximum Width Restriction) Experimental Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Powys County Council did on 23rd July 2026 make an Experimental Order in pursuance of its powers under Sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into effect on 7th August 2026 and be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months but may be made permanent subject to consideration by the Council of any objections.

This Order, will make it unlawful to cause any vehicle the maximum width of which exceeds 2.6 metres to proceed in that length of the County Classified Road Number C2202 in the Community of Llansilin which is carried by Glascoed Bridge over the Cynllaith watercourse (Ordnance Survey Grid Reference SJ 21390 27584).

A copy of the sealed Order, together with a map showing the length of road concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined during office hours at the following locations:

Objections and other representations to the Order being made permanent, should be sent in writing to the undersigned, setting out the reasons for such representations within six months of the date the Order came into force.

If you wish to question the validity of this Order, you may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
