TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (LENNOX GARDENS) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Lennox Gardens, to be closed at the junction of Pont Street to the rear flank corner of the St Columba's Church opposite number 8 Lennox Gardens.
The road is to be closed to vehicles for utility works.
The restrictions will come into force from 08.00hrs on Monday 17th August 2026 until 18.00hrs on Sunday 21st August 2026, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Diverted through traffic may use Pont Street, Walton Street, Lennox Gardens, or Pont Street Cadogan Square, Milner Street Lennox Gardens in both directions.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
• anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
• anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
