What is happening?

NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL
(Dawes Lane, Scunthorpe) (Scunthorpe Level Crossing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

On 20th Aug 2025, North Lincolnshire Council made an Order, the effect of which prohibits any vehicle from proceeding along Dawes Lane, Scunthorpe at the point of the Level Crossing. This Order took effect on 23rd Aug 2025 and will be effective until 22nd Feb 2027. Under this same Order, it is now proposed to undertake further works (maintenance of the Level Crossing) necessitating the closure of Dawes Lane from 11.30pm 22nd Aug- 8.30am 23rd Aug 2026 (but varied, if necessary, due to any unforeseen circumstances) 7am-3pm. The diversion is Dawes Lane, B1207, Ermine St, A18, A1029, High St East and reverse.
