TEMPORARY CLOSURE – SELKIRK ROAD SW17

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Selkirk Road to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Selkirk Road outside numbers 24-28. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 3 August 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be completed by 21 August 2026.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Wymond Street to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Wymond Street at the junction with Lower Richmond Road. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 5 August 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be completed by 10 August 2026.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – OPENVIEW AT THE JUNCTION OF LECKFORD ROAD

1. The Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate highway works (“the works”) they intend to make an Order, the effect of which will be to introduce road closures in the roads detailed in Paragraph 2.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Openview, from a point outside No. 53 Openview, south-eastwards for a distance of 30 metres.

3. The Order will come into effect on 10 August 2026 will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months. The works are expected to be completed by 14 August 2026.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Openview, Magdalen Road, Swaby Road and Leckford Road.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

  • (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

  • (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

  • (c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Proposed Changes to Control Area of Zebra Crossing

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in pursuance of Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes the removal of 2 zigzag length on the northeastern side of pedestrian crossing on northeastern-bound Putney Hill, opposite the junction with Putney Heath Lane to facilitate installation of bus cage.

2. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposals are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

3. Any person wishing to make a comment about the proposals should send a statement in writing to the Executive Director of Resident Services at the address below within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
