VARIOUS STREETS IN THE BOROUGH
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 29 July 2026 made the following Orders under section 6. 45 and 124 of the Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
- The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. 672) Order 2026
- The Wandsworth (Wandsworth Common & Tooting Bec) (Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 2026
2. The general effect of the Orders is:-
(a) to redesignate the end 5 metre section of shared use parking bay to provide a new (4.5m long × 2m wide) street trading pitch with a 0.5 metre length of single yellow line, on the south-western side of the north-west to south-east part of Hillbury Road close to Keeper's Lodge, Tooting Bec Common;
(b) To introduce lengths of double yellow lines – no waiting at any time in St Anthony's Close outside Nos 15 and 16 and outside Nos. 1-4.
3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, which will come into operation on 3 August 2026 are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in the Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made.
4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for that reason to the High Court.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – BICKERSTETH ROAD SW17
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Bickersteth Road to facilitate EE Mobile Telecoms works.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Bickersteth Road outside No's 120-124. The eastern and western footways will also be closed for the duration of the works. Weekend work schedule as follows:-

5. The order will come into operation on 16 August 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 29 August 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – GLENBURNIE ROAD SW17
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Glenburnie Road to facilitate Thames Water utility works.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Glenburnie Road from outside number 2 to the junction with Trinity Road. There will be no waiting at any time.
3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

5. The order will come into operation on 11 August 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 13 August 2026.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC – SOUTHCROFT ROAD SW17
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Southcroft Road to facilitate UK Power Networks works.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, temporary parking restrictions will be introduced along Southcroft Road from outside 51 to outside 97 on both sides of the road. There will be no waiting at any time.
3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.
4. Further information may be obtained from the Council's Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.
5. The order will come into operation on 13 August 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 28 August 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – SUMMERSTOWN SW17
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Summerstown to facilitate the removal of a Tower Crane.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Summerstown 46-76 - (Higgins construction site). The footway alongside the site will also be closed. There will be no waiting from Saturday 15/08/26 from 05:30 hours – Sunday 16/08/26 19:00 hours.
3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

5. The order will come into operation on 15 August 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 16 August 2026.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Wisley Road to facilitate Thames Water Mains Replacement works.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Wisley Road from the junction with Alfriston Road to the junction with Broomwood Road. There will be no waiting at any time.
3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

5. The order will come into operation on 12 August 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 15 September 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – FRESHWATER ROAD SW17
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Freshwater Road to facilitate Uk Power Networks works.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Freshwater Road from the junction of Freshwater Close to the junction of Southcroft Road. In addition, no vehicle will enter or exit Beclands Road at its junction with Freshwater Road. There will be no waiting at any time.
3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

5. The order will come into operation on 3 August 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 12 August 2026.
