Ystyrir bod y gostyngiad arfaethedig yn y terfyn cyflymder yn angenrheidiol i sicrhau symudiad diogel traffig, fel sy’n ofynnol o dan adran 122 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984.

STATEMENT OF REASONS – SPEED LIMIT ORDER 40MPH AND 50MPH
The effect of the Order is to reduce the speed limit on the A4048 - New Road/ Newport Road; from its junction with Pochin Crescent roundabout to the turning for Jim Davies Civil Engineering, Newport Road, Blackwood.
The proposed speed limit reduction is considered necessary to ensure the safe movement of traffic as required under section 122 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The proposed speed limits are contained in the Schedule of the Notice of Proposal.
