TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1062 LONDON ROAD, WESTON AND BECCLES
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
• B1062 London Road, Weston from Beccles Southern Relief Road to London Road, Beccles
• B1062 London Road, Beccles from London Road, Weston to Butterfly Drive.
This is to facilitate surface dressing and road markings. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1062, the A146, the A145 and vice versa.
It is intended that these closures will operate from:
For surface dressing - 31/07/2026 - 03/08/2026 from 4am - 9am
For road markings 19/08/2026 - 22/08/2026 from 7pm - 5am.
If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
