What is happening?

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL 
(PASTURE ROAD, BRAMCOTE) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) 
TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026 (5382)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be in respect of roads at Stapleford the Borough of Broxtowe:

1. Proposed prohibition of Waiting At Any Time along the following lengths of road: - PASTURE ROAD, STAPLEFORD (the west side)

From a point 47 metres north of its junction with Northwood Street in a south direction to a point 40 metres north of that junction

2. Proposed prohibition of Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm along the following lengths of road: -
PASTURE ROAD, STAPLEFORD (the west side)
From a point 11 metres north of its junction with Northwood Street in a south-westerly direction for 21 metres

Relevant documents may be inspected at during opening hours: -
a) The Nottinghamshire County Council, County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, NG2 7QP

b) Stapleford Library, Church Street, Stapleford, Nottingham, NG9 8GA

The proposals are designed to prevent parking at the start of the bus stop clearway which is causing issues with buses accessing it.

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 5th AUGUST 2026
