ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 16A
AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
MADE IN THE 90S EVENT – ASSOCIATED RESTRICTIONS
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the Made in the 90s event in Addington Park, they intend to make a Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to close roads as specified in Schedule 1 and suspend parking as detailed in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
2. The Order will come into effect on 08 August 2026 and will remain in force for two days.
3. Access will be maintained for residents (except for closure No.5 in the table below). The restrictions will be supervised during the event.
4. The alternative route for traffic in relation to the closure of The Crossways to all incoming traffic at the junction with Seldon Park Road will be via Selsdon Park Road and Gravel Hill Slip Road.
5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(b) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Addington Village Road - closed north-east of its junction with The Paddocks
2. Addington Village Road - closed south-west of the entrance to The Harvester, No. 36 Addington Village Road.
3. Roxton Gardens - closed outside No. 2 Roxton Gardens
4. The Crossways – closed at its junction with Gravel Hill
5. The Crossways - closed to all incoming traffic from its junction with Seldson Park Road
6. Featherbed Lane access road closed (fronting Nos. 1 to 38 Featherbed Lane)
7. Falconwood Road - entire road closed
8. Huntingfield - entire road closed
9. Palace Green - entire road closed
SCHEDULE 2 - PARKING SUSPENDED
TEMPORARY WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS
IN FORCE “AT ANY TIME”
1. Gravel Hill Slip Road (fronting Nos. 3 to 45) both sides of the road
2. Kent Gate Way – the north-east side from Gravel Hill up to and including the Roundabout at the junction of Lodge Lane
3. Lodge Lane, between the roundabout at the junction with Kent Gate Way and its junction with Addington Village Road.
4. Addington Village Road – both sides leading to Spout Hill from the Roundabout at the junction of Lodge Lane.
5. Spout Hill - both sides between Addington Village Road and No. 17 Spout Hill
6. Addington Village Road – Addington Park side only between the south-western extremity of the road and the junction with the Roundabout at Lodge Lane.
7. Addington Village Road - both sides between the junctions with the Roundabout at Lodge Lane and The Paddocks
8. Roxton Gardens - both sides south-westward for 10 metres from the junction with Spout Hill
9. Gravel Hill Slip Road – both sides between the western boundary of Addington Palace Golf Club House and the exit on to Gravel Hill
