DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ar ôl o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y'i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.

Mae angen cau'r ffordd er mwyn adnewyddu stop-tap sy’n gollwng.

• Yr Allt, Llantrisant – o’i chyffordd â Stryd yr Alarch, hyd at ei chyffordd â Stryd Siôr, am bellter o tua 26 metr.

Dylai cerbydau sy'n teithio o ochr orllewinol y man sydd wedi cau ar Stryd yr Alarch fynd ar hyd Heol Las, y Ffordd Fynediad oddi ar yr A4119, yr A4119, a Heol-y-sarn.

Yn achos gyrwyr sy'n teithio i'r cyfeiriad arall, newidiwch drefn yr uchod.

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

(SWAN STREET, LLANTRISANT)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The closure is necessary to facilitate works to renew a leaking stop tap.

Temporary Road Closure
The effect of the Order will be to close the following lengths of road:-
• Swan Street, Llantrisant – from its junction with Heol Las to its junction with Heol-y-Sarn, a distance of approximately 188 metres.

• Yr Allt, Llantrisant – from its junction with Swan Street to its junction with George Street, a distance of approximately 26 metres

Alternative Routes
For vehicles travelling from the western side of the Swan Street closure point, available via Heol Las, Access Road off A4119, A4119 & Heol-y-Sarn

For vehicles travelling in the opposite direction, reverse the directions given above.

For vehicles travelling from the southern side of the Yr Allt closure point, available via George Street, Heol-y-Sarn, A4119, Access Road off A4119 & Heol Las
Access will be maintained for pedestrians and to premises.

Access WILL NOT be maintained for emergency services.

The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed: -
• Full closure 18th August – 20th August 2026
