The Council proposes to make the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Longford Road Junction To Edgmond Split, Newport (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst pole replacement works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 10/8/26 between the hours of 8:00 – 17:00. The following road is affected: Longford Road Junction To Edgmond Split, Newport from its jcn with Longford Rd for approx. 270m in a north easterly direction. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 10/8/26.
Alternative routes will be signed on site.
