THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(LINDEN LEA) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on Linden Lea in both directions at its
junction with Finchfield Road West.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken from 13th August 2026 until
14th August 2026, between the hours of 09:30 and
14:30 only.
The diversion route is: N/Bound - Finchfield Road
West, Finchfield Road, Richmond Road and Compton
Road West. S/Bound - Walnut Drive, The Spinney,
White Oak Drive and Finchfield Road West.
The Order is required to facilitate highway repairs by
City of Wolverhampton Council.
