NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Order, Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary One-Way Restriction) (Trindle Road, Dudley) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in a northbound direction on Trindle Road, Dudley, for the purpose of creation of a new cycleway, being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 17.08.2026 and will remain in force until 13.12.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Northbound traffic will be diverted via: New Mill Street, The Minories, Flood Street, Duncan Edwards Way, Castle Gate Island, and Castle Hill.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary closure of Porters Field, Dudley) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Porters Field, Dudley, for the purpose of creation of a new cycleway, being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 17.08.2026 and will remain in force until 13.12.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Northbound traffic will be diverted via: New Mill Street, The Minories, Flood Street, Duncan Edwards Way, Castle Gate Island, and Castle Hill.

The purpose of the restrictions is to safely facilitate construction of a carriageway build out, carriageway and footway resurfacing, and associated lining, being carried out on or near the affected road. The orders will come into operation on 21.08.2026 and will remain in force until 30.08.2026, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. The restrictions will be in force from 19:00 until 23:00 each night. Traffic will be diverted via: Temple Street, Church Street, Robert Street, Jews Lane, Burton Road, Highland Road, Salop Street, Himley Road, Bull Street, Abbey Road, and vice versa.

The purpose of the restrictions is to safely facilitate construction of a carriageway build out, carriageway and footway resurfacing, and associated lining, being carried out on or near the affected road. The orders will come into operation on 21.08.2026 and will remain in force until 30.08.2026, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. The restrictions will be in force from 19:00 until 23:00 each night. Traffic will be diverted via: Temple Street, Church Street, Robert Street, Jews Lane, Burton Road, Highland Road, Salop Street, Himley Road, Bull Street, Abbey Road, and vice versa.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
