(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
ACORN GROVE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Acorn Grove, outside number 33, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during new electrical works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
The Order will come into effect on 19th August 2026 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am and 6pm on 19th August 2026 to 26th August 2026.

HARTOFT ROAD (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2(1) to (3), 4(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in pursuance of powers granted by the Secretary of State under Section 74 and Part 2 of Schedule 8 and under Paragraph 8 of Schedule 9 of the Traffic Management Act 2004.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions at junction corners during bus operating times to prevent parked vehicles obstructing visibility, manoeuvrability and the free passage of buses.
The purpose of the Order is to improve road safety, maintain adequate sightlines for all highway users, facilitate the expeditious movement of traffic, and improve the reliability and efficiency of local bus services by reducing delays associated with parked vehicles at junctions and turning areas. The proposal is therefore intended to support the safe and efficient operation of the highway network and public transport services.
A copy of the draft Order, the relevant plan and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order are available for inspection during normal office hours at the General Reception Area, The Kingston upon Hull City Council, The Guildhall, Kingston upon Hull, HU1 2AA.
