REMOVAL OF PERMIT PARKING, PROVISION OF DISABLED PERSONS PARKING AND “AT ANY TIME” WAITING RESTRICTIONS (T14(26))

The Waltham Forest (Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. 23) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the LBWF ("the Council") on 30th July 2026 made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act (RTRA) 1984, as amended.

The general effect of the Order will be to in:

(a) Endlebury Rd E4 – provide double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions on the north side,

(i) from the eastern kerb line of Horsley Rd, eastward for 7.5m

(ii) from the western kerb line of Horsley Rd, westward to the common boundary of No. 66 and 68 Endlebury Rd

(b) Horsley Rd E4 – provide double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions on both sides, from its junction with Endlebury Rd to the south facing building wall of No. 64 Endlebury Rd; and in

(c) Matlock Rd E10, north west side, convert 6.6m of permit parking space to a blue badge disabled persons parking place outside No. 69 and 71 Matlock Rd

FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council under the same RTRA sections mentioned in paragraph 1 and on 30th July 2026 made a change to a traffic order map schedule in:

Burwell Rd E10, north east side, a correction to the loading place times of operation outside No. 169 Lea Bridge Rd to operating Mon-Sat 8am to 6.30pm with no changes made on street.

Copies of the order, which will come into operation from 3rd August 2026, and all other relevant documents can be inspected until the expiration period of 6 weeks from that date on request by either emailing traffic.scheme@walthamforest.gov.uk or visiting “by appointment” the Highways & Traffic Management office, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, E10 7AS during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive; or alternatively documents can be viewed online at: www.walthamforest.gov.uk/content/road-traffic-schemes-and-consultations

Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the RTRA 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
