Esh Winning - Temporary Road Closure due to New Electricity Supply Installation Works

(Woodland Road, Esh Winning) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026
The Council proposes to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on the following lengths of road.
A 23 metre length of the south eastern section of the Arbour Court Avenue/Woodland Road roundabout and a 255 metre length of the eastern, northern and western side of No. 1-25 Woodland Road, Esh Winning to enable new electricity supply installation works to be undertaken. An alternative route will be available to vehicular traffic from the north eastern side of the Arbour Court Avenue closure, west via Woodland Road and via the south western side of the roundabout. There will be no alternative route during the side and rear Woodland Road closure. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The works are required from Monday 17/8/2026 and for the duration of the works anticipated to be 29 days. On occasions, alternative dates for the closure may be necessary and these will be signed on site accordingly.
