What is happening?
CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (C2030 MOCKERKIN, U2085 OUGHTERSIDE,
C2008 CROSSHOW ROAD, DEARHAM, AND B5301 PARSONBY) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road:
1. C2030 Mockerkin, from its junction with the C4022, extending in an easterly direction for approx. 480m.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C2030, B5289, B5292, C2027, and A5086 Duration: From 17 August 2026 for approx. 5 days (Ref: TTROC/19122)
2. U2085 Oughterside, from a point approx. 250m north east of its junction with the C2023, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 50m.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections
of the U2085, A596, Prospect and C2023
Oughterside.
Duration: From 21 August 2026 for approx. 1 day (Ref: TTROC/19330)
3. C2008 Crosshow Road, Dearham, from its junction with the A594, Maryport Road, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 1 70m.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted section of the C2008, Crosshow Road, Main Street and Central Road, Dearham and A594 Maryport
Road.
Duration: From 24 August 2026 for
approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROC/19282)
4. B5301 Parsonby, from its junction with the U2086, extending in a southerly direction for approx. 630m.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the B5301, A595, B5299 Harriston, A596 Queen Street and King Street, Aspatria, Station Road, and Arkleby Road.
Duration: From 1 September 2026 for approx. 1 day (Ref: TTROC/19333)
