U8174 BEAUFRONT WOODHEAD FARM TO STAGSHAW BANK SANDHOE

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8174 Beaufront Woodhead Farm to Stagshaw Bank Sandhoe from its junction with U8179 Sandhoe Junction to Military Road Junction heading in a south westwards direction for a distance of 720 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 17th August 2026 until the 28th August 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 17th August 2026 until the 19th August 2026 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 28th August 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U8179, U8180, C239, U8174 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

A68 BROOMHAUGH TO STYFORD STOCKSFIELD

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the A68 Broomhaugh to Styford from its junction with A68 Scales Cross to Broomhaugh heading in a north then westwards direction for its entire length in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 24th August 2026 until the 12th February 2027.

It is expected that the road will be closed in two phases from the 24th August 2026 until the 28th August 2026 between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00 and from the 1st September until the 4th September 2026 between the hours of 19:00 & 07:00 during these periods; however, the order will remain in place until 12th February 2027.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via A68, A695, C283, A6079, A6079, A69 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U7006 LAMBLEY MAIN ROAD THROUGH VILLAGE LAMBLEY

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U7006 Lambley Main Road Through Village from its point with the front of West View heading in a southwards direction for a distance of 80 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 10th August 2026 until the 21st August 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 10th August 2026 until the 14th August 2026 the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 21st August 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U7006, C323, A689 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C302 Park Road Haltwhistle from its junction with U7069 Park Avenue heading in a easterly direction for a distance of 70 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 4th August 2026 until the 6th August 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 4th August 2026 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 6th August 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U7069, C302 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U7035 AESICA ROAD HALTWHISTLE

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U7035 Aesica Road from its junction with Edens Lawn heading in a north westwards direction for a distance 35 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 10th August 2026 until the 17th August 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 10th August 2026 until the 11th August 2026 between the hours of 19:00 & 23:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 17th August 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C302, U7047, U7035 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council (“the Council”), in exercise of its powers as the local traffic authority under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and all other enabling powers, has on the 22 July 2026 made the Northumberland County Council Beaumont Trophy and Curlew Cup 2026 Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026 (“the TTRO”).

The Council has made the TTRO for the purposes of facilitating the holding of the Beaumont Trophy and Curlew Cup 2026 (“the Event”) by restricting traffic on the U9030 Stamfordham Village Green roads from Stamfordham Hall to the junction with C341 Grange Road for a length of 75 metres, the B6309 Stamfordham to Burnside for its entire length, the B6309 Burnside to Belsay junction from its junction with the C340 to its junction with the C221 for a length of 1,000 metres, the C211 District Boundary to West Belsay junction from its junction with the B6309 to its junction with the C224 for a length of 2,740 metres, the C224 Quarry Closure Point to Boghall junction from its junction with the C211 to its junction with the U9013 for a length of 1,380 metres, the U9013 Ingoe Moor junction to Sandybraes junction for its entire length, the C211 District Boundary to West Belsay junction, from its junction with the U9013 heading west for a length of 2,847 metres, the C211 Bavington Hall junction to District Boundary for its entire length, the B6342 Throckrington junction to Shiel Hill from its junction with the C211 to its junction with the C209 for a length of 2,585 metres, the B6342 Five Lane Ends to Throckrington junction from its junction with the C209 to its junction with the C222 for a length of 4,588 metres, the C222 Robin Hoods Well junction to District Boundary for its entire length, the C222 District Boundary to Ryal for its entire length, the C222 at Ryal for its entire length, the C222 Ryal to Ingoe junction for its entire length, the C340 Matfen junction to Belsay Castle junction for its entire length, the C341 North Side, Matfen from its junction with the C340 heading east for a length of 233 metres, the C341 Matfen to Fenwick for its entire length, the C341 Fenwick Main Road for its entire length and the C341 Stamfordham Village Green roads from Stannerton House to the junction with U9030 Stamfordham Village Green roads for a length of 253 metres ("Road One") the B6309 Stamfordham to Burnside from its junction with the U9030 heading north for a length of 45 metres, the B6309 Stamfordham Village for its entire length, the B6309 Whittle Dene to Stamfordham from its junction with the B6309 heading west for a length of 72 metres, the C341 Grange Road from its junction with the U9030 for its entire length, the U9030 Stamfordham Village Green roads from Stamfordham Hall to the junction with C341 Grange Road for a length of 75 metres and the C343 Stamfordham junction to Stamfordham Road from its junction with the C341 heading east for a length of 129 metres ("Road Two") the C341 Stamfordham Village Green roads from its point opposite no. 32 North side in an easterly direction for a length of 195 metres ("Road Three") and the C341 Stamfordham Village Green roads from its point opposite no. 32 North side in an easterly direction for a length of 195 metres ("Road Four") (Road One, Road Two, Road Three and Road Four shall together be known as the Road).

The TTRO shall come into force at the following times, subject to the provisions of section 16B of the Act:

• In respect of Road One, 08:30 hours on 09 August 2026 and will remain in force until 17:30 hours on 09 August 2026;

• In respect of Road Two, 08:30 hours on 09 August 2026 and will remain in force until 17:30 hours on 09 August 2026;

• In respect of Road Three, 17:00 hours on 08 August 2026 and will remain in force until 18:00 hours on 08 August 2026 and 6:45 hours on 09 August 2026 and will remain in force until 7:45 hours on 09 August 2026 and 17:45 hours on 09 August 2026 and will remain in force until 18:45 hours on 09 August 2026; and

• In respect of Road Four, 08:30 hours on 09 August 2026 and will remain in force until 17:30 hours on 09 August 2026.

There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

All restrictions on the Road will be sign-posted and staffed and will remain in force only for as long as is necessary.

Nothing in the TTRO shall apply to:

a. Any activities taking place on the Road related to the organisation and holding of the Event;

b. Anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police officer or a Duly Authorised Officer of the Council.

c. Any vehicle being used by, or for the purposes of, the emergency services;

d. Any vehicle being used by or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker (e.g. the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which requires vehicles to be brought onto the Road); or

e. Pedestrian access to any premises adjoining the Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2026

VARIATION NO. 02 ORDER 2026 (TRO_102_04)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make the above-named Amendment Order under sections 32 and 35 and Part III and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act of 1984”), and Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers and after consulting with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984.

The effect of the Variation Order, if made, will be to include ‘virtual’ and ‘physical’ permits into the Northumberland County Council (Off Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2026 following the introduction of a new digitised permit system by Northumberland County Council.
