ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 KIRKLEES COUNCIL
(HUDDERSFIELD TOWN FC 26/27 SEASON) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (during the holding of Huddersfield Town Football Club matches) the Council of the Borough of Kirklees intends to make an Order the effect of which will be that:

Part 1
1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed along St Andrew’s Road (between Thistle St. and Turnbridge Road); Gasworks Street (between St. Andrew’s Road and Leeds Road); and Stadium Way (between edge of Stadium footprint (near entry gantry) and St Andrew’s Road) Huddersfield (PROVIDED THAT such prohibitions shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the prevention of danger to the public) on the dates and times specified in the Schedule below

Part 2
2. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle (whether mechanically propelled or not) to wait or park in that part of St Andrews Road (B6432) from its junction with Stadium Way/ Gasworks Street up to Cummins Turbo Technologies Huddersfield (as shown on the Order map), or on the footways thereon on the dates and times specified in the Schedule below

The actual duration of the restrictions will be as follows, depending on the actual kick off time:

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

It is intended that this Order will take effect on 15 August 2026 and remain in force (on the affected dates) until the end of the 26/27 football season.
