Edwyn Ralph - Temporary Road Closure Due To Cabling Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1061 From Horton Farm Road To B4214, Edwyn Ralph, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1061 From Horton Farm Road To B4214, Edwyn Ralph, outside New Cross Farm to the junction with the B4214. Grid Ref: 363920/257668.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1062 onto the C2097 onto the B4214 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 24th of August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
