(Felpham: Flansham Park) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Flansham Park in Felpham, from Flansham Lane to Alfriston Close.

The road closure is needed to allow gas mains to be replaced in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 17 August 2026 and remain in force until 11 September 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(East Dean: Public Footpath No. 447) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from proceeding along a length of Public Footpath No 447 from its junction with Racecourse Road (489667.702, 111402.603) south-eastwards to its junction
with Hat Hill Road (490174.889, 110834.727), a distance of 780m

The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst water mains are replaced. Unfortunately there are no alternative routes available using
the Public Rights of Way network.

The Order will come into effect on 3rd August 2026 and will
last for 6 months.

(Lavant: Trundle Hill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Trundle Hill between Pook Lane and Racecourse Road.

The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst electrical connection works are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 3 August 2026 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected the proposed works will start on or after 3 August 2026 and will be completed by 22 August 2026.

(Stedham With Iping: School Lane, The Street & Adjoining Roads) (20mph & 30mph Speed Limit) Order 202*

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC proposes to introduce a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on lengths of School Lane and
Common View.

NOTICE is hereby given that in exercise of their powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, WSCC, propose to make a permanent Order the effect of which will be to introduce two short lengths of prohibition of waiting at any time (double yellow lines) on the north side of the east/west section of Littlecote.
