(GROVE ROAD, FISHPONDS, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Grove Road which extends from the common boundary line of No.54 and No.60 Grove Road to Thingwall Park.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 14th September 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. 

However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 14th September 2026 and 18th September 2026).

(PASSAGE ROAD AND TORMARTON CRESCENT, HENBURY, BRISTOL)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES)
(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be:-

1. to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice; and

2. to suspend, temporarily, when appropriate signs are covered, the existing one way traffic working in a south easterly direction in Tormarton Crescent so as to allow access and egress for work vehicles.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads and will be operative from 24th August 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. 

However, the restrictions may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 24th August 2026 and 25th September 2026 – please see Schedule 2 below for more details).

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads and will be operative from 14th September 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. 

However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 14th September 2026 and 2nd October 2026).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Denmark Street which extends from Hanover Street to St. Augustines Parade. 

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 26th August 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. 

However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 26th August 2026 and 28th August 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Denmark Street (part unaffected), Unity Street, College Green, St. Augustines Parade (and vice versa for pedal cycles)

(GLENCOYNE SQUARE, SOUTHMEAD, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Glencoyne Square which extends from Embleton Road south eastwards for 40 metres.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 17th September 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. 

However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 17th September 2026 and 17th January 2028).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Glencoyne Square (part unaffected), Ullswater Road, Glencoyne Square (part unaffected) and vice versa
