Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Ambrosden Footpath 105/7/10 Closure

Date of Order: 27 July 2026

Coming into force: 1 August 2026

This Order is being introduced to ensure safety of public whilst dwelling construction works are carried out which is anticipated to be completed August 2029. This is a 24 hour footpath closure. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily that part of Footpath No.105/7/10 east of Iris Close and south of Blackthorn Road across proposed development. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when and where the measures are in force. The alternative route is provided via nearby private land. This Order will remain in force initially for a maximum period of 6 months and application may be made to the Secretary of State for Transport to extend the order. (Ref: T18288/AC)

Cassington Road, Yarnton

Prohibition of No Right Turn

Date of Order: 3 August 2026

Coming into force: 13 August 2026

This Order is being introduced because of ducting work to upgrade electricity supplies which is anticipated to be completed 6 November 2026. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit Right Turn from two junctions – Green Lane and Couling Close onto Woodstock Road with traffic directed towards Pear Tree roundabout. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T18466/AC)
