What is happening?
PROPOSED ROAD HUMPS, ALLAWAY AVENUE, PAULSGROVE WARD (P013-26)
1. Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council proposes to introduce a road hump in the form of a raised table at the existing zebra crossing in Allaway Avenue east its junction with Falmouth Road under the Highways Act 1980.
2. The road hump would be in the form of a raised table across the full width of the carriageway and would be situated in Allaway Avenue, as follows:

3. Copies of the plans showing the proposals are available to view on Portsmouth City Council’s website: Search 'Traffic Regulation Orders 2026' at

4. Persons wishing to object to these proposals must do so by sending their representations to
or by post to TRO Team, Portsmouth City Council, Civic Offices, Portsmouth PO1 2NE, quoting ref P013-26 within 21 days of the date of this Notice (i.e. by 21 August 2026) stating the grounds for the objection.
