THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (BILSTON)
(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND
STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 3)
ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make the following Order under
Sections 1, 2,124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is
as follows:

This Order will prohibit any vehicle to:
(i) wait at any time on any day and to load and unload at
any time on any day in parts of Wood Street (Bilston)
and Black Country Route
(ii) wait at any time on any day in the loading area unless
such waiting is necessary to enable goods to be loaded
on or unloaded from the vehicle in connection with
adjoining trade or business premises for a period no
longer than 30 minutes with no return within 1 hour in
parts in parts of Wood Street (Bilston) as specified on
the Plan.
Existing Traffic Regulation Orders are hereby varied or
revoked to the extent insofar as is necessary to facilitate the
provisions of this Order.
A copy of the Order, Statement of Reason and Plan
showing the parts of the roads affected by the Order may
be inspected during normal office hours at Main Reception,
Civic Centre, St Peter's Square, Wolverhampton or viewed

Any objection(s) to the proposed Order should be made in
writing to the undersigned by Friday 21 August 2026 stating
the ground(s) for the objection(s).
