SECTION 14 THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) 

(ROAD FROM HIGHER WEDDICOTT TO WEDDICOTT CROSS, CHAGFORD)
ORDER 2026 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From 12/8/26 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 17/8/26. Between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: RD FROM HIGHER WEDDICOTT TO WEDDICOTT CROSS, CHAGFORD. FROM HIGHER WEDDICOTT TO JUST PAST LOWER WEDDICOT
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - RD FROM MELDON HOUSE TO HIGHER WEDDICOTT FARM, RD FROM MELDON RD TO WEDDICOTT CROSS, RD FROM HIGHER WEDDICOTT TO WEDDICOTT
CROSS.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: FIBRE CABLING WITH DESILTING.

ORDER 2026 TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED LIMIT

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From 10/8/26 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 28/8/26. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed greater than 30 miles per hour on the sections of Affected Roads when temporary traffic signing is in place.
Roads affected: ROAD FROM SUMMERS MOOR CROSS TO SHORESGATE
CROSS, BONDLEIGH THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE ROUTE.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: DRAINAGE WORKS.
