(GILMORE PARK AND VIEWFORTH) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026 TEMP/26/123
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate a safe working area for SPEN power connection works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of: (1) Gilmore Pk, from the extended south-east kerbline of Fountainbridge, south-eastwards for 50m; & (ii) Viewforth, from 45m north-west of the extended north-west kerbline of Horne Ter, north-westwards to the extended south-east kerbline of Dundee St. & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on any part of: Gilmore Pk, both sides, from the extended south-east kerbline of Fountainbridge, south-eastwards for 50m; & (10) Viewforth, both sides, from 45m north-west of the extended north-west kerbline of Home Ter, north-westwards to the extended south-east kerbline of Dundee St. Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in (b). There is no available diversion with respect to the road closure of Gilmore Pk, where local access will be maintained where practical. The alternative route for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closure of Viewforth is Dundee St, Yeaman P1, Polwarth Cres, Gilmore Pl (Granville Tern, Gilmore PI & Viewforth (St. Peter's P. the Order shall have effect from 03/08/26 to 31/10/26.
