NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along that length of Public Footpaths UM3, UM2, UE19, UE16 and UM1 in Finedon as specified below. Private access to land or premises adjacent to the said lengths of footpaths are unaffected.
RIGHT OF WAY TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Public Footpath UM3 in the parish of Finedon to be closed starts at point A on the map at national grid reference (NGR) SP 492687/27222. The route travels in an Easterly direction for approximately 1221 metres to point B on the map at NGR 493627/272683.
Public Footpath UM2 in the parish of Finedon to be closed starts at point C on the map at NGR SP 491975/271779 it travels for approximately 2319 metres in a Southernly direction to point D at NGR SP 493722/270397. The route proceeds a further 367 metres to the East to point E at NGR SP 494047/270488. The route also travels from Point D at NGR SP 493722/270397 for 900 metres in a South-Westerly direction to point F at NGR SP 493559/269824.
Public Footpath UM1 in the parish of Finedon to be closed starts at point G on the map at NGR SP 491690/271646 and travels in a Southernly direction for approximately 2841 metres to point H at NGR SP 492863/269281.
The routes to be closed is shown by solid black lines between points A-B, C-D-E, D-F, G-H.
REASONS FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for health and safety due to historical mining land needing investigating.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The Order will come into effect on 3rd August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of six months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for this Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such extent as is indicated by the display of notices.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council, in exercise of their powers, propose to make an Order under Sections 82, 83 and 84 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed exceeding 30 mph and 40 mph along those lengths of those roads as specified in the Schedules to the draft Order and as detailed in the Schedules below.
