TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Diversion of Highway (East) (No.32) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up and diversion of 2 lengths and an eastern part width of Footpath 51 at Essex, in the District of Braintree. This is to enable development as permitted by Braintree District Council under references 21/01772/OUT and 23/01751/REM.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/E/S247/6297). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Braintree District Council, Causeway House, Bocking End, Braintree, Essex, CM7 9HB.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 30 July 2026.
