NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER

(LEEDS PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 281 & 282) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2026
The above Order, made on 27 July 2026, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpath commencing from a point, SE 3152 2890, at the junction with Nesfield View, opposite Nesfield Road, and proceeding for a distance of 176 metres in a north easterly then north north easterly direction to a point, SE 3164 2902, at the junction with Broom Place alongside number 12 to a new line running from a point, SE 3147 2891, at the junction with Nesfield View opposite number 25 and 27 and proceeding for adistance of 185 metres in an east north easterly direction then a generally northerly direction to a point, SE 3152 2907 at the junction with Broom Place opposite number 9 with a branch commencing from a point SE 3149 2890, at the junction with Nesfield View and proceeding for a distance of 13 metres in a northerly direction to a point, SE 3149 2892 at its junction with the continuation of Leeds Footpath No. 281 as shown on the Order Map.
And will divert the public footpath commencing from a point, SE 3156 2888, at the junction with Nesfield View alongside number 22 and proceeding for a distance of 42 metres in agenerally northerly direction to a point, SE 3156 2893, at the junction with Leeds Footpath No. 281 to a new line running from a point, SE 3151 2903, at the junction with Leeds Footpath No. 281 and proceeding for a distance of 80 metres in a easterly then north north easterly direction to a point, SE 3157 2905, at the junction with Broom Place, opposite number 21-23 as shown on the Order Map.
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen at Climate Energy and Green Spaces Reception, Farnley Hall, Hall Lane, Farnley, LS12 5HA (reference 00243434), from 8.00am to 4.00pm on Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 3.30pm on Friday and also at Hunslet Community Hub and Library, Waterloo Road, Leeds, LS10 2NS during normal opening hours until 27 August 2026. Copies of the Order and Map may also be viewed online www.leeds.gov.uk/PROWorders or obtained by emailing prow@leeds.gov.uk or calling 0113 378 8625.
Any representation or objection relating to the order must be sent in writing to Definitive Map Team, Farnley Hall, Hall Lane, Leeds LS12 5HA, or by email to PROW@leeds.gov.uk (Quoting reference 00243434), not later than 27 August 2026, and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Leeds City Council may themselves confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with it.
