Order 2026

The Council on 27/7/2026 made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on the following length of road. A 15 metre length of Lime Street/Maple Grove, in the vicinity of the rear of No. 19 Lime Street to enable burst water main repair works to be undertaken. An alternative route will be available to vehicular traffic around Maple Grove via Elm Street, north of the closed road. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The works commenced under urgent 5-day Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice on 22/7/2026 and now require extending from 27/7/2026 for approximately 2 days. On occasions, alternative dates for the closure may be necessary and these will be signed on site accordingly.
