What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 27/07/2026, Angus Council made The Angus Council (Croft Terrace, Kirriemuir) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2026, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, so that Scottish Gas disconnection work may be undertaken. The Order will come into force on 03/08/26, from which date it is anticipated that the work will last for a period of 12 days. However, the maximum duration in terms of the Act is 18 months. The Order prohibits all vehicular traffic from driving and waiting on Croft Terrace, Kirriemuir over its entire length. Access for pedestrians, emergency vehicles and vehicular access to properties will be maintained. There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.
