TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East Midlands) (No. 13) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a northern part width of Elm Road comprising highway verge at Burton Latimer, in North Northamptonshire. This is to enable development as permitted by North Northamptonshire Council under reference NK/2024/0206.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@ dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/EM/S247/6305). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Burton Latimer Post Office, 2 – 6 Churchill Way, Burton Latimer, Kettering NN15 5RU.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 30 July 2026.
