What is happening?

REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL
GUISBOROUGH ROAD (SOUTH OF UPLEATHAM) PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2026

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding in the length of road forming the layby area on Guisborough Road south of Upleatham located 200 metres north of the intersection with A173 Skelton Ellers, for its full length.

Full details are contained in a draft Order which together with a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the order may be examined at the offices below Monday to Friday between 11am and 2pm.

If you wish to object to the proposed Order, you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the undersigned for the attention of Emma Garbutt or by email to emma.garbutt@redcar-cleveland.gov.uk by 25.8.26.
