The reason for the said closures and restrictions is for carriageway works. There will be no stopping or waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, at various times, on a rolling programme commencing 3rd August 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the said closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/ times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order may permit the said closures and restrictions in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 30th November 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF 481046 HIGH STREET (BARTON NAND TREDWORTH WARD) GLOUCESTER CITY

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 481046 High Street to prevent any stopping, loading or unloading from its junction with Rycroft Street to its junction with Tredworth Road for a total distance of approximately 565 metres. The reason for this closure and restriction is for highway improvement works.

There will be no waiting, stopping, or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said road is expected to be closed and restricted from 09:30hrs on 5th August 2026 until 15:30hrs on 21st August 2026 only or until the works have been completed. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401150 BRIAR COTTAGE TO THE GREEN (SHEEPSCOMBE PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 401150 Briar Cottage to the Green Road from outside the property known as the ‘Village Hall’ to its junction with Far End for a distance of approximately 147 metres.

The reason for the closures is for drainage works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 3rd August 2026 until 21st August 2026 only.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400310 Road from Ledbury Road to Tawneys Farm, from outside the property known as ‘Hillend Cottages’ to outside the property known as ‘Moors Cottages’, for a distance of approximately 110 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 3rd August 2026 until 16:00hrs on 5th August 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
