The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the roads detailed in the schedule below.

The proposed order will come into force on the 04/08/2026 and will continue until the A47 resurfacing and associated works have been completed or until the 03/08/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between 04/08/2026 and 17/09/2026.

Frank Perkins Parkway Junction 5 Southbound Off Slip            Ref: 27-147

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Frank Perkins Parkway Junction 5 Southbound Off Slip, for it’s entire length. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Frank Perkins Parkway south, exit junction 4, Frank Perkins Parkway north. The proposed order will come into force on the 03/08/2026 and will continue until the cut and patch works have been completed or until the 02/08/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between 20:00 and 06:00 from the 03/08/2026 to the 04/08/2026.

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Frank Perkins Parkway Junction 5 Southbound On Slip, for it’s entire length. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Frank Perkins Parkway north, exit junction 8, Frank Perkins Parkway south. The proposed order will come into force on the 03/08/2026 and will continue until the post and sign installation works have been completed or until the 02/08/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between 20:00 and 06:00 from the 03/08/2026 to the 04/08/2026.

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Chestnut Avenue, as lies between numbers 146 and 154. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: 147 to 154 Chestnut Avenue and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 03/08/2026 and will continue until the electrical maintenance works have been completed or until the 02/08/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 03/08/2026 and the 05/08/2026.

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as All Saints Road, at number 47. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: All Saints Road, Park Road, Prince’s Street, Dogsthorpe Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 03/08/2026 and will continue until the communication pipe repair works have been completed or until the 02/08/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 03/08/2026 and the 05/08/2026.

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Oakleigh Drive, Nansicles Road, Newcastle Drive and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 04/08/2026 and will continue until the stoptap replacement works have been completed or until the 03/08/2027, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough Burghley Horse Trials, Peterborough. Temporary Prohibition
and Restriction Order 2026                                                              Ref: 27-163

NOTICE is hereby given that The Council of the City of Peterborough (“the Council”) has made the above Traffic Regulation Order under Section 16A(c) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers. The Council is satisfied that traffic on these roads and PROW should be restricted or prohibited because of an event taking place near these roads and PROW. The effect of the Order is to bring into the effect the prohibitions and restrictions in respect of the roads, or sections of roads, and PROW as described in the Order detailed in the below schedule. The alternative routes for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order are detailed in the below schedule. All diversion routes will be indicated by appropriate signage at relevant places along the roads or sections of roads affected. The below mentioned PROW will have no alternative route available for pedestrians and cyclists.
Nothing in the Order shall prevent, at any time, access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the roads, or sections of roads, described in the Order, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from, those roads.

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Graeme Road, Nene Way and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 11/08/2026 and will continue until the stoptap replacement works have been completed or until the 10/08/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 11/08/2026 and the 13/08/2026.

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Occupation Road, as lies between Clarence Road and Bourges Boulevard. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Clarence Road, Searjeant Street and Bourges Boulevard. The proposed order will come into force on the 11/08/2026 and will continue until the chamber access works have been completed or until the 10/08/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place on the 11/08/2026 between 08:00 and 16:00.

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Star Road, Padholme Road, Eastfield Road, St Johns Road, Vineyard Road, Bishops Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 09/08/2026 and will continue until the water main remedial works have been completed or until the 08/08/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place on 09/08/2026 only.

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Belsize Avenue, alleyway at the side of number 60. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this Notice. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: None available. This notice is made in the interest of pole installation on private land works and will remain effective for no more than 5 days from 06/08/2026.
