ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

AUSTREY LANE, NO MANS HEATH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable footway repair works.
Order Commences: 3 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 5 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Austrey Lane, No Mans Heath Lane, Appleby
Hill, Atherstone Road, Ashby Road and vice versa.

OUTWOODS CLOSE, ATHERSTONE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to lay approx 12m of duct within the carriageway/verge.
Order Commences: 18 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 20 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

PARK AVENUE, POLESWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Telegraph pole renewal works.
Order Commences: 6 August 2026 for up to 18 months.

Access & Diversion: Park Road, St Helena Road, Grendon Road, Common Lane, Park Avenue and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from B4118 Birmingham Road to Christopher Way.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction & associated works, 08.00hrs - 17.00hrs weekdays.
Order Commences: 3 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 21 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: B4118 (Birmingham Road, New Road), Coleshill Road, Plank Lane and vice versa.

MIDDLETON LANE, MIDDLETON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to replace one decayed telegraph pole.
Order Commences: 5 August 2026 for up to 18 months.

Access & Diversion: Middleton Lane, Lichfield Road, Tamworth Road, Park Lane and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

HAUNCH LANE, LEA MARSTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Telegraph pole renewal works.
Order Commences: 21 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 21 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Kingsbury Road, A446, Lichfield Road, Newlands Lane, Hams Lane, Church Lane, Haunch Lane and vice versa.

COTON ROAD, LEA MARSTON & BODYMOOR HEATH LANE, MARSTON
Order Effect: A 40mph Speed Restriction will be imposed from a point on Coton Road, Lea Marston prior to its junction with Kingsbury Road extending along Bodymoor Heath Lane for a distance of 202 metres.
Reason for Order: To enable pole renewal works.
Order Commences: 19 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 19 August 2026.

GRENDON ROAD, POLESWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to install new water connection from water main.
Order Commences: 17 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 20 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Grendon Road, Tamworth Road, Glascote Road, Pennine Way, Thomas Guy Way, A5, Watling Street, A5, Holly Lane, Old Holly Lane, Atherstone Road, Sheepy Road, Polesworth Road and vice versa.

ORTON LANE, AUSTREY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable works to renew pole.
Order Commences: 20 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 20 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Main Road, Bishops Cleeve, Warton Lane, Austrey Road, Maypole Road, Barn EndRoad, Orton Road, Norton Lane, Austrey Lane, Orton Lane and vice versa.

MAIN ROAD, BAXTERLEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Trenching works in tarmac footway and grass verge.
Order Commences: 19 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 11 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Main Road, The Orchard, Windmill Lane, Wigston Hill, Atherstone Lane, Atherstone Road, Knowle Hill, Brick Kiln Lane, Hurley Common, Tamworth Road, Baxterley Road and vice versa.

WOOD LANE, ARLEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable work to renew pole.
Order Commences: 18 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 18 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Tamworth Road, Nuneaton Road, Mill Lane, Ballards Green Lane, Wood Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Openreach, Tel: 03700 500792.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
