MANAGEMENT
“The Aberdeenshire Council (Barratt Drive, Ellon - 27.07.26) (Temporary Traffic Management) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 27.07.26 for 5 weeks and will introduce a temporary road closure/prohibition of waiting on Barratt Drive, Ellon between Nos.33 and No. 53.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety to allow gas upgrade works to be carried out.
An alternative route is available via Western Place, Riverside Road, Provost Davidson Drive, Barratt Drive and vice versa. Details of the restriction can be viewed online at https://online.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/apps/roadworks/
