(Hyde Park Road, Hyde Park, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic)
Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works to install gas mains replacement are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentionedbhighway(s); Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Hyde Park Rd, Hyde Park, Leeds outside property no. 100 Hyde Park Rd. Diversionary route available via: Hyde Park Rd, Moorland Rd, Belle Vue Rd, Woodsley Rd and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on 3 August 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because maintenance works to retaining walls are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentione highway(s); Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Inner Ring Rd and New York Rd, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward between its junctions with York Rd and Wellington Bridge St. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: West St, Park Ln, Westgate, Oxford Pl, Great George St, Merrion St, New Briggate, North St, New York Rd, Eastgate, St Peters St, Duke St, Marsh Ln AND New Woodhouse Ln, Woodhouse Ln, Merrion St, New Briggate, North St, New York Rd, Eastgate, St Peters St, Duke St, Marsh Ln; AND Marsh Ln, East St, South Accommodation Rd, Hunslet Rd, Hunslet Ln, Great Wilson St, Meadow Ln, Dewsbury Rd, Jack Ln, Ninevenh Rd, Bridge Rd, Holbeck Ln, Domestic St, Domestic Rd, Gelderd Rd. (Harrison Street, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading Bay) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of a loading bay suspension to facilitate hoarding works proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways; Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Harrison Street, Leeds, Leeds in Little London Woodhouse outside the Leeds Grand Theatre. No diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order comes into operation on Thursday 6th August 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because roofing repair works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways; Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is: The relocation of 1 disabled parking bay, a 5 metre section along Market Pl, Pudsey, Leeds in the Pudsey Ward, from outside Pudsey House to a location northwest immediately outside the electricity sub-station; and a temporary footway closure immediately outside Pudsey House. A diversionary route for pedestrians affected by the closure of this footway will be available via: Crawshaw Hill, Market Pl and vice versa. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Tuesday 4th August 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works to install new water mains are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel NE along Harrogate Rd, Rawdon, Leeds between its jcts with Leeds Rd & John St. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to turn right from Leeds Rd, Rawdon, Leeds onto Harrogate Rd. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to turn right from Micklefield Ln, Rawdon, Leeds onto Leeds Rd. Diversionary route available: New Rd Side, Green Ln & Micklefield Rd. Essential access to & from premises & for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on 10 August 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because gas connection works are proposed to
be executed on or near the under mentioned highway Leeds City Council
intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be
that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Smalewell Rd
between property no. 156 and the Bradford Boundary. No diversionary route
available. Access to Tyersal La for residents only. Essential access to and from
premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended
to come into operation on 19 Aug 2026 and will remain in force for a max period
of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. Works are expected to
be completed by 2 Sept 2026. The closure will be in place 24hrs on each day.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Parking) (Special Events)
Order 2026 – Leeds United Friendly Fixtures 2026 – Lowfields Road
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to
the public (in relation to the holding of football games at Elland Road), Leeds
City Council, as traffic authority for the Leeds Metropolitan District, has today
made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
prohibiting the use of the road below by vehicles and the suspension of existing
disabled bays. The effect of the Order is that: 1. No person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed along Lowfields Rd from its junction with Elland
Rd up to the overpass with M621, on any day upon which a football match is
to take place at Elland Rd Stadium (provided that such prohibition shall
not extend to vehicles being used in connection with a particular match).
Where necessary local diversions will be in operation, signed as appropriate.
In relation to the road closure, the Order will come into effect an hour before
the scheduled kick-off of each match and one hour after the final whistle of
each match (approximately). 2. No vehicles will be permitted to use the existing
17 disabled spaces located on Lowfield’s Rd situated N of Stadium Way.
Alternative disabled parking is to be provided within the park and ride site off
Bobby Collins Way. In relation to the parking suspension the order shall come
into effect at 00:01 on the date of each match listed. Friendly match day
fixtures are scheduled to take place on 8 & 15 Aug 2026. Access for emergency
services and pedestrians will be maintained to all premises situated on or
adjacent to any road or part of road to be closed or to which restrictions apply
including other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from such a
road. The Order shall come into operation 00.01 hours on 8 August 2026.

Experimental Amendment Order No.14 2026
Prohibition of Motor Vehicles Temple Newsam Estate, Leeds
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as Local Traffic
Authority (and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9 10 & 11
& 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) made the
above Experimental Traffic Regulation Order on 30 July 2026. The effect of the
Experimental Order which comes into force on the 6 August 2026 (and which
will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months) is to introduce the
following traffic management measures: No vehicle permitted on or along Elm
Tree Walk, south of the Lodge Car Park. No vehicle access on Temple Newsam
Rd between New Temple Gate and Elm Tree Walk, and on Elm Tree Walk
between Colton Rd and the Lodge Car Park, nightly between 22:00 and 06:00.
The Council’s Chief Officer (Highways and Transportation) may under Section
10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 modify or suspend the operation
of the Experimental Order or any of their provisions if it appears to him to be
essential. The Council will be considering in due course whether the provisions
of the Experimental Order should be continued indefinitely. Full details in the
form of the made Experimental Order together with plans showing the affected
lengths of highway and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for the Order are
available on request by e-mailing the address below. If you wish to object to
or make representations concerning the making of the Experimental Order for
the purpose of indefinite continuation, you should write to City Development,

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic
Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35 and
Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the
Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers has today
made the above Order, the effect of which is to introduce within the Middleton
Park Ward. 1. No Waiting at any Time on sections of Forest Yard (both sides);
Middleton Park Circus (east side); Middleton Rd (east side); New Forest Way
(south side); Parnaby Rd (both sides); Sharp House Rd (both sides); Sharp Ln
(both sides); Shelldrake Dr (northern side); Woodside View (both sides).
2. Parking Places for the Loading and Unloading Goods (All Days & Hours:
30 Mins – No Return Within 1 Hour) on sections of Middleton Park Circus
(east side). A copy of this Amendment Order may be obtained by e-mailing
troteam@leeds.gov.uk. If you wish to object to question the validity of this
Amendment Order or any provision contained within it on the ground that it
is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the
grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under the
Act has not be complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks
from the date upon which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for
this purpose
