MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC 151514903: The City of Manchester (Heald Place, Moss Side Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Heald Place. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Great Western Street, Wilmslow Road, Moss Lane East. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate the Removal of a Crane. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 4th August 2026 to 11th August 2026. The order shall come into operation on 4th August 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
