(EAST BACK HAMPSTEAD ROAD) TEMPORARY TRAFFICREGULATION ORDER 2026
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council ofthe City of Newcastle upon Tyne intend, not lessthan seven days from the date of this Notice, tomake an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of whichwill be to prohibit any vehicular traffic to proceedon East Back Hampstead Road between its junction Wellfield Road and Glebe Street.
2. The alternative route for traffic will be signed onsite as required.
3. The order is required to allow works to becarried out on or near the highway.
4. Exemptions will be provided for vehiclesengaged in the said works.
5. The Order will come into operation on 7 September 2026 and will continue, as and whenthe relevant traffic signs are displayed, up to 13 September 2026 or until the proposed works arecompleted, whichever is the earlier.
