TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – VICTORIA CRESCENT AND HAWKE ROAD
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, to enable new gas main connection works, the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting, including waiting for the purposes of loading or unloading a vehicle, in those lengths of:
(a) Victoria Crescent, between outside the common boundary of Nos. 23 to 28 Battenberg Walk and Nos. 31 to 36 Battenberg Walk and its junction with Hawke Road;
(b) Hawke Road, between outside the north-western flank wall of Nos 41/42 Northwood Way and outside the south eastern flank wall of No. 62 Victoria Crescent.
2. The Order would come into force on 17 August 2026 and continue in force for a maximum duration of 3 months, to allow for contingencies, or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. In practice, it is anticipated that the works would take 4 weeks to complete.
