TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – HINTON ROAD
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, to enable new electricity supply works, the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth intends to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily:
(a) prohibit vehicles from turning left from Coldharbour Lane into Hinton Road;
(b) introduce a south-east to north-west one-way traffic system in Hinton Road, between its junction with Coldharbour Lane and 67 metres south-east of that junction.
2. The alternative route for affected vehicles would be available via Coldharbour Lane, Herne Hill Road, Wanless Road, and Hinton Road.
3. The Order would come into force on 17 August 2026 and continue in force for a maximum duration of 1 month, to allow for contingencies, or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. In practice, it is anticipated that the works would take 12 days to complete.
