(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202_
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited(a) intends to make an Order on the A12 Trunk Road in the County of Essex to enable nearby Local Authority surface water alleviation works and general routine maintenance to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place over approximately 4 nights (Mon-Fri, 9pm to 5am) starting on, or after, Monday 24 August 2026.
The effect of the Order would be to close the dedicated lane accessible only from the northbound carriageway of the B1002 to the A12 northbound entry slip road at Junction 13 Trueloves Interchange – diverting traffic via the B1002 northbound to join the A12 at J15 and continue their journey.
The closure (which would not apply to works or emergency services vehicles) and diversion route would be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
The Order would come into force on 17 August 2026 and may continue in force until the works detailed above have been completed or for a maximum duration of eighteen months, whichever is the earlier.
