TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
LADY LEA ROAD, HORSLEY WOODHOUSE
WHEN: 17 August to 03 September 2026.
WHERE: Lady Lea Road, Horsley Woodhouse from Jct. of Woodhouse Road for approx. 115m south.
REASON: To facilitate the replacement of approx. 118m of metallic gas main, while replacing all associated services.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A609, Wood Lane, Smalley Mill Road, Lady Lea Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
